Whistle Bear Golf Club will be hosting the Canadian PGA Championship presented by MasterCard for the second time in 2005. Last year, Whistle Bear was rated among the best conditioned courses on the Nationwide Tour by the players!

• L-93 bent grass tee decks, and greens. Fairways are a mix of Pen Eagle, Pen Links and Providence bent grasses
• Water comes into play on 10 holes
• There are eight ponds. The largest is 10 acres and factors in Nos. 8-10
• The course features two small waterfalls
• There are a total of 103 sand bunkers on the course and eight at the practice facility
• 5,500 cubic metres of white sand is in the bunkers
